    As the Community Sponsor of the British Triathlon Federation, Tata Steel is encouraging youngsters to adopt a healthier lifestyle through its Tata – Kids of Steel® triathlon series.

    Tata – Kids of Steel triathlon events aim to give children in communities across Great Britain the chance to have a fun, positive experience of sport and inspire them to lead more active and healthy lifestyles. 

    To date more than 75,000 children have taken part in Tata Kids of Steel triathlon events. 

    Tata Steel has supported the British Triathlon federation since 2006, and has been instrumental in the growth and success of the sport at the grassroots level, in paratriathlon and in elite performance.

    Britain now has more world and Olympic champions than any other nation, and triathlon is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK.
