Apprenticeships at Shotton
Shotton is home to Tata Steel Colors, an international business manufacturing pre-finished steel for the building envelope, domestic appliances and manufactured goods markets.
At Shotton we recruit into the manufacturing engineering population whether that be in a mechanical, electrical, instrumental or machinist discipline. For the first three and a half years apprentices are employed by TTE Training Ltd in Ellesmere Port and if successful will then follow into a one year fixed term contract with Tata Steel, with the aim of progressing into a permanent role.
TTE provide a three and a half year multi skilled apprenticeship which is a work based training programme where you gain both practical experience at the TTE training centre and on site here at Tata Steel Colors in Shotton.
During this time you will study for nationally recognised qualifications.
