
Background
Tata Steel Europe is the European operations of the Tata Steel Group.
Tata Steel Europe was formerly known as Corus.
Corus was formed on 6 October 1999 through the merger of British Steel and Koninklijke Hoogovens.
On 2 April 2007, Corus became a subsidiary of Tata Steel.
Corus was rebranded to Tata Steel on 27 September 2010.
