The Tata Steel Projects Electrification Team is a leading supplier of electrification design and consultancy services to both Network Rail and a wide range of contractors across the UK.
Our specialist team has extensive experience of all aspects of railway electrification and is fully accredited to Network Rail standard NR/SP/ELP//21130 to undertake system, basic, allocation and construction design of overhead line equipment.
High Speed 1
The High Speed 1 project, formerly called the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, is being delivered by London & Continental Railways and covers the construction and electrification of a new high speed rail route from Folkestone to St Pancras International, London.
Larkhall to Milngavie Re-opening
Tata Steel Projects was commissioned by Siemens to work closely with their design team in Germany to specify and develop their new basic design range of OLE equipment.
Northampton Traincare Depot
Tata Steel Projects made a major contribution to the Northampton Traincare Depot, a brand new depot facility located on the former down sidings north of Northampton station on the West Coast Mainline to Rugby.
OLE Mk3D Structure Assessments
Tata Steel Projects was commissioned by Network Rail LNE MP&I to undertake structure and condition surveys and a risk based matrix for assessment of overhead line equipment structures and foundations, together with supporting calculations.
