Colchester to Clacton
With 22 locations initially for work between August and December, a further 13 were added later in the contract. The project required a flexible approach to meet the client’s requirements regarding site access and changes in project scope.
Earthworks Assessment
The principal objective of this project was to provide consistently high quality information regarding the condition of earthworks categorised as poor, serviceable and marginal using the GISmo software.
Manchester Metrolink Geotechnical Services
A renewal of 23km of track on the Manchester Metrolink Railway. This included the development of a waste management strategy by the Tata Steel Projects' Geo-Environmental Department that enabled the majority of the spoil from the renewal to remain on site.
Watford to Bletchley Geotechnical Services
The Tata Steel Projects' Geotechnical Team was appointed to undertake the design, supervision and monitoring of works as part of the West Coast Route Modernisation between Euston and Glasgow. This 42 mile stretch linking Hanslope and Hatch End required approximately 100 new undertrack crossings (UTX).
