Gauging Enhancements
Tata Steel Projects' dedicated and well established Route Improvement team has provided robust solutions to gauging and clearance issues over many years to a variety of clients. These include Network Rail, Strategic Rail Authority, Train Operating Companies and Port Authorities.
Lincoln Station Remodelling
Outline design for the track and signalling remodelling at Lincoln (GRIP stage 3 & GRIP stage 4). This was an extremely complex project, involving life expired track, mechanical signalling, new SSI electronic inter-locking and three level crossings on busy roads in the centre of Lincoln.
Reading Station Area Redevelopment
Tata Steel Projects has provided expert engineering consultation services to Network Rail throughout the Reading Station Area Redevelopment project (RSAR), the largest Network Rail station scheme in the UK. Following excellent performance on GRIP 2 Tata Steel Projects has now been awarded the GRIP 3 contract for civils, pway and E&P design.
Switches and crossings renewals
