    Car manufacturers are constantly aiming to make the design and engineering process of new models more efficient. Shorter lead times and minimised costs of prototyping and functional testing are enabled by CAE - Computer Aided Engineering – solutions that are deployed during various stages of the process.     R2R, or Ready-to-run, input decks are material files which contain all required material data on a specific grade that can be directly used within CAE software to run forming and crashworthiness simulations. Support is currently available for ABAQUS, AutoForm,LS-DYNA, RADIOSS and PAM-STAMP/PAMCRASH.
