    XPF® for easy lightweighting and increased energy absorbtion

    Tata Steel’s XPF800 and XPF1000 single-phase, hot-rolled steels offer a superior mix of strength and formability. These versatile steels are suitable for chassis, body-in-white (BIW) and seating applications.

    • Higher stretch-flangeability

      Compared with other hot-rolled advanced high-strength steels, single-phase XPF steels combine high strength with increased levels of stretch flangeability and tensile elongation. This provides scope to make more complex, stiffer products. High levels of bendability also contribute to improved structural integrity of body-in-white components in crash scenarios.
