    Hot Rolled Strip Steel

You can rely on the consistent quality of our hot-rolled steel.

Our products comply with relevant standards. We have also enhanced many of our steel grades to deliver added benefits – both for end products and customer processes.

Our hot-rolled steel line includes exclusive Tata Steel products developed to save you money and make your life easier.

    • Ympress® for weight savings and component strength

Ympress® is Tata Steel’s hot-rolled HSLA product. It is highly formable and delivers weight savings and increased component strength. The result is lighter, stronger, more consistent products.

Ympress® adds value to automotive, lifting and excavating and shipbuilding applications, among others.

    • Heat-treatable steel

Tata Steel offers a choice of hot-rolled heat-treatable steel. Its chemical composition and the production processes we employ ensure robust, consistent products.

Our case-hardening steel is suitable for wear-resistant components that must bear extreme fatigue stress. Our high-carbon grades supplied in the ‘as-rolled’ untreated condition can be processed to meet specific requirements.
