Vegter 2017 and Abspoel & Scholting FLC
Highly accurate models
Our in-house developed material models Vegter 2017 and Abspoel & Scholting FLC are methods to predict respectively the advanced parameters for the Vegter yield locus and the Forming Limit Curve, using only the tensile properties in 0°, 45° and 90°. You're able to achieve the most accurate simulation result, with a minimal amount of experimental input data:
- no need for special tests (biaxial, plane strain and shear stress points)
- as easy as Hill’48 and Keeler, but much more accurate.
FE suppliers AutoForm, LS-Dyna (Dynamore), MSC-Marc, PAM-Crash / PAM-Stamp (ESI) and Stampack Xpress have implemented Vegter (2017) in their software, allowing you to globally use the same material models. The Abspoel & Scholting FLC is implemented in AutoForm and for other packages the data can be imported as tabulated data.
