This futuristic building is on track to be a landmark transportation hub of the future after the use of Tata Steel’s Colorcoat Prisma® pre-finished steel gave it a ticket to ride.

The challenge

Architects Metrica Tip Arquitectura were looking for a finish for the new station that was modern and contemporary, yet which wouldn’t project an old-fashioned industrial feel.

The solution

5000m2 of Colorcoat Prisma® in Anthracite and Silver Metallic, installed as part of a Trimo Qbiss One cladding system, give the station the right platform to promote its modern approach to train travel; mirroring the Vialia concept of transforming railway stations into an integrated and crucial part of the community by including leisure and restaurant outlets within the complex.
