Primarily aimed at specifiers, and delivered by our experienced team, these free seminars can be booked at any time between 9am and 5pm and last a maximum of 60 minutes. They comprise a presentation followed by a question and answer session.

To arrange a seminar, for your UK based architectural practice, please select from one of the subjects below.  We offer flexibility for your practice and these seminars can be delivered face to face, hybrid or online via Microsoft Teams but we can consider other platforms if this will not work for you. We do ask that there is a minimum of 4 attendees to reduce the burden on our presenters.

Factory tour - Colorcoat lines and insulated panel line at Shotton Works

Colorcoat lines - This CPD takes the visitor on a tour of Europe's largest pre-finished steel manufacturing facility, at Tata Steel Limited, Shotton Works, Deeside.

The guided tour encompasses all aspects of the production process. The tour is completed by a technical presentation, which provides additional detail about the manufacture, testing specification and utilisation of the products. The total duration of the visit is half a day.

Insulated panel line - The main objective of the tour is for the visitor to gain technical knowledge and understanding of the manufacturing process of the Tata Steel ‘s Trisomet® System.

The state-of-the-art insulated panel production line is one of the most automated and efficient in Europe in terms of manning, yield loss, energy use and volume output.
