Trisomet® new thicker panel achieves lower U-value

Tata Steel has extended its Trisomet® insulated panel range to a core thickness of 135 mm which meets the lower U-value of 0.15W/m2K required for the latest Scottish Technical Standard (Section 6) for ‘Shell and fit out’ buildings.

Tata Steel has extended its Trisomet® insulated panel range to a core thickness of 135 mm which meets the lower U-value of 0.15W/m2K required for the latest Scottish Technical Standard (Section 6) for ‘Shell and fit out’ buildings.

Scottish Technical Standard for ‘Shell and fit out’ buildings

New buildings in Scotland which have been constructed as a shell, for later fit out that are not the subject of a staged building warrant, should meet the maximum U-values for building elements of the insulation envelope as shown below:

Reducing C02 emissions and operational energy costs
