Tata Steel Nederland today announced it has completed the sale of Tata Steel France Bâtiments et Systèmes (also known as Monopanel) to Bremhove NV, a private industrial Belgian holding company belonging to the family of Joris and Enzo Ide.
Monopanel manufactures building cladding, flooring profiles and roof panels for the construction sector, primarily for industry and large scale buildings (e.g. warehouses, commercial centres, airports, etc).
Tom Eussen, Managing Director of Tata Steel Downstream Europe said: “I believe this is good news for Tata Steel Nederland and for Monopanel. Under new ownership, Monopanel will have the opportunity to secure a more sustainable future, based on the investments made in recent years and the experience and expertise offered by Bremhove. We wish our colleagues all the best for the future and would like to thank everyone for their years of service to Monopanel as a part of Tata Steel Nederland.”
